On Air
Special Events, DXpeditions, Contests and our Club Net
Warrington Amateur Radio Club has a long history in taking part in radio events and
over the years have set up and operated many special event
stations, been out on DXpeditions and operated the club
station in contests.
Our permenant club callsigns are G0WRS, G6WRC and
our contest callsign is M5T and from time to time we have
also operated a number of special event "GB" callsigns. Please give
us a call if you hear us operating.
We also have regular Club nets on 2m FM which start at 10AM every
morning and also on Thursday evenings around 8PM. Everyone is welcome
to join whether you're a member or not and we usually convene on or
around 145.400MHz.
On the following pages are details of the events we've undertaken as
well as any up-and-coming operations where you have an opportunity
to work us.

QSL Details
If you would like a QSL card for a QSO you've had with the
club station or one of the special events we've operated,
then take a look at the QSL section.
At the end of special event operations we upload the log to
our web site to allow you to search for and confirm your QSO
with our station. In some cases it is also possible to
download and print a QSL card from our website for a confirmed
QSO.
