The Warrington Amateur Radio Club meets at the Grappenhall Community Centre, Bellhouse Lane, Grappenhall, Warrington
(see directions), every Tuesday evening from
8pm onwards.
It is one of the countries premier clubs for all apects of amateur radio and short wave listing. It is fair to say that in the modern amateur radio world there is also a lot of interest in computers and software, wireless networking etc. which are now used in many facets of amateur communication including logging, control of equipment, satellite predictions etc.
The club welcomes members or visitors who reside in Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester or even further afield
who either hold an amateur radio licence or wish to know more.
There are a great many facets of this hobby and it will be what you make it so newcomers do not come along with too many preconceived ideas.
