GB7WC - Warrington's DSTAR Repeater

Picture of Daresbury Tower GB7WC is installed on the tower at Daresbury Laboratory in Warrington, Cheshire in the North West of England. The repeater was funded by UK FM Group (Western) and was installed by Warrington Amateur Radio Club members Paul, G1DVA and Mike, G4VSS, who is also the NoV holder for the repeater.

It is a D-STAR digital voice repeater and operates in the 70cms band with a +9MHz split. The repeater input frequency is 430.4875Mhz and the output is 439.4875Mhz and provides excellent coverage of Warrington and the surrounding areas.

It is connected to other nodes of the D-STAR network via a gateway connected to a BT ADSL line.
